and i did well!!!!!
two As and two B-minuses—honestly, i couldn't ask for anything more. i'm certainly happy with them! now if only i could get rid of this constant feeling of exhaustion (likely from burnout, lmao) that i'm dealing with...
but hey! i'm 75% done with my degree! three more semesters—fall, spring and summer—and i'm FREE! i think the only downside that leaves me is worrying about ~the future~, since i know the (tech) job market is...not great, right now (especially for junior developers) and i don't know how much better or worse it'll get between now and next summer. PLUS the fact that i don't have any experience in the tech industry (because i'm taking full-time semester loads EVERY semester) which is a huge negative. and i hardly have time to work on projects (or even know where to start with those!) for a resumé or anything....also because i'm constantly busy with classes! it's a lose-lose. especially since i hate school and would genuinely rather be working and i'm so serious about that. i'll deal with annoying coworkers over exams any day of the week because ultimately one place pays you and one puts you further into debt. i don't even care how little i make at my first job! i want OUT.
my fall semester schedule is looking to be busy as hell, too (and one of my classes is with a professor whose "teaching methods", if they can even be called that, i GREATLY despise), but on the bright side i'm done with the more "difficult" math classes! linear algebra was one of the ones i finished with a B-minus. i do have to take a statistics class in the fall (i was going to put it off until next summer, but i needed another class to make my schedule full-time for the sake of financial aid, SOOOO), but it's like...an intro class? and the prerequisite for it is literally just calculus I. which was easy as hell compared to some of the other shit i've had to do since. so y'know. i looked the professor up on ratemyprofessors and people seem to agree that she's friendly and offers extra credit and test reviews even if she does assign a lot of homework, which is about all i can really ask for. managing it on top of my other CS classes should be...interesting, though, but i've gotten through all the other classes thus far so i guess i have no choice but to make it through these ones too (though i noticed that at least two of my fall classes expect me to work in groups. they're online classes. oh boy).
